RFID PVC Cards

Standard ISO PVC RFID cards with MIFARE, NTAG or UCODE chips for access control, time attendance and payment.

RFID PVC Cards are standard thin laminated contactless smart cards in CR80 credit card size, made of multi-layer laminated PVC material with passive RFID chip and copper antenna embedded inside. Standard thickness is 0.76mm, flexible and compatible with most ID card printers for printing photos, logos, QR codes and variable data. Available in LF 125KHz and HF 13.56MHz NFC chip options, waterproof and cost-effective. Ideal for access control, staff attendance, membership cards, hotel key cards, student ID badges and visitor passes. This is a laminated PVC card, not a thick ABS clamshell card.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an RFID PVC Card?

RFID PVC card is a standard thin laminated CR80 contactless smart card. The RFID chip and antenna are sealed inside laminated PVC sheets. It is thin, printable and flexible, widely used for photo ID and access systems. It is different from ABS clamshell cards.

What is the main difference between RFID PVC card and clamshell card?

RFID PVC card: 0.76mm thin laminated structure, can be printed by ID card printers, flexible, low cost. Clamshell card: ~1.8mm thick ABS two-piece sealed housing, cannot feed into normal ID card printers, rigid and impact-resistant for heavy-duty use.

Can I print on these RFID PVC cards with my ID card printer?

Yes. Standard 0.76mm CR80 PVC RFID cards work well with most direct-to-card and retransfer ID printers. Blank white cards support printing photos, logos, text and variable QR codes.

Are both 125KHz and 13.56MHz NFC chips available?

Yes. LF 125KHz (EM4100/TK4100) suits traditional proximity readers. HF 13.56MHz Mifare / NTAG versions support NFC phone reading and encrypted access systems. Please confirm your reader frequency before ordering.

Can you pre-encode chips and provide UID list?

Yes. We can encode UID, write sector data for Mifare chips, program rewritable T5577 cards, and export an Excel ID list for your access control software.

Are RFID PVC cards waterproof?

Yes, the laminated sealed structure is splash-proof for daily use. Avoid long-time soaking and high temperature exposure.

Can we punch holes on PVC cards for lanyards?

Yes, we can punch round holes or slot holes as requested. Attention: punching over the antenna area will damage the card and cause reading failure.

Which chip is suitable for hotel lock systems?

Most hotel locks use MIFARE Classic 1K or FM11RF08. We suggest testing samples first to match your lock protocol.

What is the MOQ for custom printed RFID PVC cards?

Blank white stock cards support small orders with fast lead time. Full-colour custom printed cards have separate MOQ based on artwork and production process.

Can I get samples for testing?

We provide blank and printed samples for printer testing, reader compatibility testing and quality verification before bulk order.
